It’s not new that a greater percentage of women worldwide use one skin care products or the other. These women know nothing about the side effects it may cause as they are only concerned about the short time good looks and self confidence it can give.

Reports has it that an average woman uses 12 personal care products a day containing 168 different chemicals. Makeup contains a lot of chemicals and components which may or may not suit your particular skin type.

Wearing makeup is not totally bad, but everyday makeup can cause various side effects, impacting the health and natural glow of your skin.

Some of the substances present in the makeup products, irritates the skin when they come in contact with the body. Chemicals like paraben and SLES can cause allergic reactions. If you are allergic to certain ingredients, such products can make it worse. They can cause rashes, make your skin itchy and uncomfortable.

Dr Rachna adds that, Triclosan, found in most antibacterial soaps and deodorant, causes skin irritation and infection.” If children are exposed to this at an early age, they have an increased chance of developing allergies, asthma and eczema.”

It can even lead to an eye infection .
